About Image to JPG
Image to JPG converts PNG, WEBP, BMP, GIF and other browser-readable image formats into standard JPG files using the Canvas API. JPG remains the most universally compatible format for photos, email attachments and older software that doesn't support newer formats.
Multiple images convert in one batch and download together as a ZIP when there's more than one file.
JPG's role as the universal fallback
Decades after its introduction, JPG remains the one image format virtually every device, browser, printer and piece of software can open without a second thought. When a PNG, WEBP, GIF or BMP file needs to go somewhere that might not recognize it — an older intranet system, a print shop's upload portal, a form that only accepts "JPG or PNG" — converting to JPG first removes the compatibility question entirely, saving a round trip of a rejected upload and a confused support ticket.
Batch conversion and packaging
Drop in several images at once and each is decoded with the browser's native Image API, drawn to an off-screen canvas, and re-encoded as JPEG at a high default quality (92%) chosen to keep visual fidelity close to the source. When you convert more than one file, the results are automatically packaged into a single ZIP archive via JSZip so you get one download instead of juggling several separate files. That batch handling is exactly what makes this tool useful for whole folders of exported graphics or downloaded images, not just a single one-off conversion.

- Converting iPhone photos? Start with HEIC Converter if the files are still in Apple's HEIC format.
- Need the result even smaller? Run it through Compress Image afterward.
- Turning a batch of JPGs into one shareable document? Follow up with JPG to PDF.
