About Organize PDF

Organize PDF renders a thumbnail of every page using pdf.js, then lets you drag pages into a new order, rotate individual pages, or remove ones you don't want — all before rebuilding a fresh PDF with pdf-lib. It's the visual, page-by-page counterpart to Rotate PDF, Delete Pages and Split PDF combined into one workspace.

This is the tool to reach for when a document's page order is genuinely scrambled, rather than just needing every page rotated the same amount or one clean range extracted.

One workspace instead of three separate tools

Rotate PDF fixes uniform sideways scans. Delete Pages removes a fixed list. Split PDF divides by range. But a genuinely scrambled document — pages out of order, a few that need individual rotation, one or two that need to go — doesn't fit neatly into any single one of those. Organize PDF renders every page as a thumbnail so you can see the whole document at a glance and fix all of that in one visual pass.

How the render-then-rebuild pipeline works

On upload, pdf.js draws each page to a small canvas thumbnail entirely in memory — this is the same rendering engine that powers PDF viewing in Chrome and Firefox, just running quietly in the background here. Drag thumbnails to reorder, use the per-thumbnail controls to rotate or remove a page, then pdf-lib copies the surviving pages, in your chosen order and rotation, into a freshly rebuilt PDF when you click Save Changes.
